Mollie Curran is currently an energy consultant at IHS where she specializes in natural gas demand and the analysis of short-term trade dynamics. She has significant experience providing strategic analysis and recommendations to international oil and gas companies, financial institutions, and national oil companies (NOCs). Prior to her commitment to energy analysis, Mollie worked on advocacy campaigns for Environment America, primarily focusing on land and water conservation.

As part of her professional motivation, Mollie has a passion for energy efficiency within a transparent marketplace. She has a BA in Economics with a focus on Energy and the Environment from Georgetown University. She is a member of Linked:Energy, Leaders in Energy and Young Professionals in Energy for the DC metro area. She is also a native of Southern California as a daughter of two proud Bruins. In her spare time, Mollie enjoys binge watching Curb your Enthusiasm, petting any dog she runs into on the street, running around the National Mall, and hunting down the best hand-muddled cocktails in the District (you have to try The Fainting Goat).
